Day 9: Bozeman Hot Springs

Today we had to check out of the West Yellowstone campsite. When we woke up in the morning it was really cold. The news said it got down to 31 degrees overnight! The mountains in the distance had a distinct new blanket of snow in the higher elevations!

We had hoped to do a river rafting trip this morning, but it was way too cold, so instead, Daryl researched hot springs and found a place in Bozeman, MT on our way. We stopped there and while Leroy and Elaine waited, we swam, sat in hot and cold baths, took saunas and steam baths!

It was pretty fun, relaxing and refreshing! Then we drove on through Montana (Big Sky Country) to Missoula. Such lovely scenery to look at along the road each day, the mountain ranges seem to go on and on!

After some searching (Walmart lot was really full and crowded, Cabelas was not the big kind for RVs), we set up camp at a huge spacious truck stop, where there were no other campers or truckers in our immediate vicinity and the view of the hills is awesome! After getting the generator running and warming up leftovers for supper, Alex and I headed across the highway to McDonalds for a wifi connection.
Unfortunately I had some business to take care of for work :( and Alex played on his Kindle!
